Homemade Maple Flavored Marshmallows

If you are joining me from Beth’s blog, Welcome! If not, still welcome! Ummm..and how adorable are those vampire treats Beth made?? Amazing! If you didn’t check her post out, you should! Those vampire treats are the perfect mix of cute and spooky. That’s totally a legit combination.

As for me, I have been on this crazy maple kick lately. Seriously. I have went through 2.5 bottles of extract in about 3 weeks. I bought maple extract for the first time a few weeks ago to surprise my mom with sugar-free cupcakes with sugar-free maple flavored frosting. You can get the details of that recipe HERE. Then I went onto making maple flavored peanut brittle, and now maple flavored marshmallows. I’m going maple crazy. However, the house smells like maple syrup. So there’s that.

I popped one of these fluffy marshmallows into my hot cocoa and yum! I am not a fan of store-bought marshmallows, but homemade marshmallows are legit good. Especially in hot cocoa. I used my original recipe HERE and substituted the peppermint extract for maple extract. If you don’t like maple you could also use pumpkin pie spice extract or any other flavor for that matter.

I grabbed these leaves from my neighbors yard. So beautiful! 🍁

And that’s a wrap! Short and sweet. See what I did there? 😂 Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my post. Make sure to head over to Leanna’s blog HERE for another yummy fall recipe. She made pumpkin cream cheese frosted cookies. Nothing says fall like pumpkin anything. Amirite?

All the talented bloggers I teamed up with are listed below along with a sneak peek of the yummy goodness they whipped up. Be sure to check out all the delicious recipes! You won’t be disappointed.
